Telecaster wiring refurbish
I have this Fender telecaster, that had some problems to the electronics (Mostly because i screwed it up), so I decided to fix it that best that I could. Neck pickup is the factory one, but I changed the bridge one for a Seymour Duncan Little 59, a humbucker. I tought it would be cool to have the coil split option, so I took out the tone pot, and changed it with a push-push pot I had. (The wiring is the same as a normal telecaster, but if you, like me, have a fender and an SD pickup, remind to swap the wires for the Fender pickups, otherwise, in the middle position, they will sound out of phase). For this wiring I used, 250K volume pot, 500K tone pot (push-push), P.I.O. capacitor and some wire to extend the bridge pickup wire. Here's a pic of the finished project: The guitar now sounds much better, and if you are careful, you can do it too without any problem! :)
